Course Overview

We offer a full afternoon activites as part of our Junior programme in the Summer 2025. The afternoon activity including: Explore London, Drama workshop, Football English, STEM programme and Junior Business Skills workshop.

Join our Junior Social Programme to experience the real London by visiting traditional sights as well as hidden gems off the beaten track. Discover all the cool things to do in the capital with our fun, unique, Insta-worthy excursions. Our learners' language development extends from the classroom to these diverse outings, as students are always accompanied by one of our teachers who all have extensive knowledge of their home town, London.

Explore London

Available : every Monday to Friday, from 2nd June to 29th August 2025

Price : £155 per week

Students to Adult ratio: 10:1

Week 1 – London Adventures
Embark on a thrilling exploration of London’s iconic landmarks! Dive into the history behind Big Ben and Tower Bridge and experience local shopping, practicing your bargaining skills along the way.

Week 2 – Going Places
See London like a local, from famous spots to hidden gems. Discover the parks, neighbourhoods, and spaces that give London its unique charm.

Week 3 – Express Yourself
Celebrate creativity in London’s vibrant arts scene. Join us in exploring music, fashion, film, and self-expression across this colourful city.

Week 4 – The World of Sciences
Uncover London’s natural wonders! From local ecosystems to sustainability, learn about the science that connects us to nature.

Week 5 – Legends of London
Travel back in time to meet the inspiring figures who shaped London’s history, from legendary leaders to everyday heroes.

Week 6 – Future Explorers
Explore cutting-edge technology and problem-solving. Develop your own ideas to tackle global challenges, imagining a brighter future.

Please note:

  1. Programmes are subject to change at the discretion of the group leader owing to weather conditions and other unforeseen external factors (e.g. Tube strikes).
  2. The price of £155 per week does NOT include travel expenses or any spending money.
    A. Students are responsible for their own travel expenses and should have their oyster cards/travel cards ready before each trip.
    B. Students are also responsible for their own food and drinks for the trips. We advise the students to always carry a bottle of water, especially in hot weather conditions, and a light 
    snack.

Football English

Available : Every Wednesday, from 4th June to 27th August 2025

Price : £40 per week (free if joining the week-long Explore London Programme)

Maximum student in the class : 15

Football English is designed for students who love football and would like to learn more about the game in an English-speaking environment. In the workshop, they will learn about:

  • Positions
  • Formations
  • Different styles of play
  • Team talks
  • Punditry
  • Commentary
  • Interviews with players and coaches
  • Nutrition

After a one-hour lesson, students will take part in a football-related activity, which can be playing a supervised football match, or attending a stadium tour of a London-based professional football club.

Junior Business Skills workshop (as an add on)

Available : Every Thursday, from 5th June 2025 (Thursday)

Price : £40 (free if joining the week-long Explore London Programme)

Maximum student in the class : 20

Our Junior Business Skills programme, built specifically for teenagers, brings together the skills they need to help them thrive in the world of work and develop their day-to-day communication skills. In the workshop they will learn about:

  • The Working World
  • CV and Resume Writing
  • Cover Letters
  • Job Interviews
  • Networking Skills
  • Using Technology and social media
  • Speaking with Confidence

Drama workshop

Available : 14th July to 1st August 2025

Price : £155 per week

Maximum student in the class : 20

Drama is particularly valuable for presentation and expression in English and encourages teamwork and co-operation. At the end each week, there will be a performance, giving a chance for students to show what they have learnt to their peers. In the workshop, they will learn about:

  • Practicing their pronunciation
  • Improve their self-confidence as well as their communication and presentation skills.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths)

Available : 4th August to 29th August 2025

Price : £155 per week

Maximum student in the class : 20

Our STEM courses give your children the opportunity to learn crucial STEM knowledge and develop the skills needed in secondary education, all while having fun in an inclusive and interactive classroom environment. Students will:

  • Speak about and share ideas on Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM)
  • Practise mathematical skills and logic reasoning

Frequently Asked Questions

Activities vary each week and include sightseeing tours, workshops (e.g., drama, STEM, football), and social excursions to famous London locations.
The course fee includes tuition, course materials, and tickets to pre-arranged attractions and activities. Additionally, students have access to scheduled social events as part of the Junior Programme.
Transportation costs, personal expenses, and optional weekend trips are not included in the course fee. Accommodation and meals are available at an additional charge if students opt for homestay.
Students should budget approximately £30-£50 per week for an Oyster card, depending on travel frequency.
Most places accept credit and debit cards, contactless payments, and mobile wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay). Cash is also accepted but used less frequently.
In most cases, students will return to the school or a designated meeting point after activities, where they can be safely collected or continue their daily schedule.
