I’ve always been fascinated by language: not just the words themselves, but how they work beneath the surface.
This curiosity led me to study Japanese for my BA, linguistics for my MA, and, most recently, my CELTA qualification.
Teaching English felt like a natural next step, and I’m excited to begin my teaching journey at WLES as a newly qualified teacher!
I love supporting students as they grow in confidence, and I learn just as much from them in return.
Alongside English and Japanese, I’ve also studied French and Arabic, and I enjoy bringing that wider language background into my teaching.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, travelling, spending time with my pet reptiles, and continuing my own studies in language classes.
